RE: Help with reading OSCAR data and adjusting - BigSwell - 05-15-2024 Ok thank you. Tonight I will try the tape with the collar and report back! RE: Help with reading OSCAR data and adjusting - BigSwell - 06-26-2024 So I got the collar recommended here. It has helped with the leaks quite a bit I think. Still feeling really tired during the day. Wondering if at this point I need to make some adjustments. My Dr. is no help. I still don't really understand how to interpret the data from Oscar so I appreciate any help. Thank you! RE: Help with reading OSCAR data and adjusting - BigSwell - 06-27-2024 So last night I tried a very flat pillow with the SCC and it seemed to exacerbate my issue. It feels like my sinus slams shut and air is forced out of my mouth when I lay really flat. Does this still look like positional apnea? - BigSwell - 07-08-2024 Getting the leaks under control with SCC. Wondering if there is still something else I can work on here. Was told before that my charts looked positional. Thanks all! RE: BigSwell - Therapy Thread - OpalRose - 07-08-2024 BigSwell, I combined your two threads as they both deal with the same subject. Going forward, please use this thread for posting your charts and any questions you may have. Thanks. RE: BigSwell - Therapy Thread - Phaleronic - 07-08-2024 Hi Bigswell, if you're still up I recommend setting your machine to cpap mode @ 14cm with EPR on fulltime but drop it down to 2. This should help the spikes in leak rate and OA events, (as apap mode is fluctuating too much and doing more harm than good). You should feel more comfortable with the constant pressure setting as well. Please try this setting for 30 minutes to an hour before bed to see how it feels and report back to us. |
