RE: Trouble with central apneas and weird symptoms - SarcasticDave94 - 08-23-2024 Tape will only seal your lips from leaks. RE: Trouble with central apneas and weird symptoms - PeaceLoveAndPizza - 08-23-2024 Deb is a pro with mouth tape. She is a great resource if you are pondering using it. I personally use a soft cervical collar (Caldera Releaf specifically) which uses the weight of the head to help keep ones mouths closed. Not for all, but when properly sized it works a charm for me. Practice proper tongue placement until it becomes second nature. It took me about 3 months to get comfortable with it, but your mileage may vary… RE: Trouble with central apneas and weird symptoms - Deborah K. - 08-24-2024 It depends on the person. A neck collar does not stop mouth leaking for me, and I tried the tongue placement thing, but could never get it to work either. For some of us, tape is the only thing that works. I wish it were otherwise. |
