RE: Fine tuning CPAP - Phaleronic - 10-13-2024 Hi newman08, Okay, looking at the latest chart please raise cpap pressure to 12.6cm (one cm at a time over the course of week) and turn EPR on @ 1-this will help with the flow limits and h/oas. It may raise the number of ca events but I'd like to see how it feels to you and if the flow limits get knocked down over a few nights please. RE: Fine tuning CPAP - newman08 - 10-21-2024 Here is an updated night: - I turned it up to 12.4, but found my mouth was busting open from the pressure. I used mouth tape, but even then it blew threw the edges of the tape. - I bought the Phillips Dreamwear full face mask. It is okay, but not as comfortable as nose pilows. I would rather have great sleep though. RE: Fine tuning CPAP - newman08 - 10-24-2024 The new mask isn't working well - it keeps sliding off my nose and causing big leaks. I went back to pillows and 11cm cpap mode. Clearairways again. I ordered a full face mask over the nose mask to try and see if that helps. I will run with the current setting for the time being unless someone has any further thoughts. RE: Fine tuning CPAP - newman08 - 10-28-2024 Ok - new mask is in (ResMed F20), better results I believe. I am going to increase the range 13-16 tonight and see how I do. I don't have trouble breathing, but what wakes me up is if I roll over and some air blows on my face. Not sure if anyone has further recommendations. |
