White noise might be good especially in a hospital. When I was in the hospital my sleep patterns were completly mixed up. I had a 10 hour surgery and that night all I did was surf the lousy TV programs that were available. Then you have the nurses coming in every few hours. I also had a very disoriented eldert patient down the hall making screaming out for help. I think I took more cat naps then actual sleep plus at times you are rather doped up.
It comes down to, who knows what your sleep patterns will be like.
When you are awake being in a hospital can be very boaring.
You will be glad when you get released

That stiffness is a bit of a concern, also the stress on the adjacent vertebrae, glad to hear that you got relief though.
Surgery is Jan 21st. They are going through the back of the neck and doing what I called the old tried and true method and they laughed.
I have had some instability and vertigo for the last several years and weakness.

I probably won't be able to use the mouth tape, but I am going to ask ahead of time. I might cut a number of them, also I am just going to take a bunch of P10 cushions, not sure if I would be able to clean them effectively.
