For what it's worth:
The poll doesn't address the automatic feature with a Climateline heated hose on the Resmed. Also, If you turn it to manual, the default setting is 8.

One needs to take into consideration the lot of different machines used, and the options in humidify level are not the same.
On my PR System One, if I use heated hose, then my options are 1,2,or 3, which I seem to fall back on 2.
If I turn heated hose off, then my options are 1 through 5, and I find 3 comfortable.
Plus it will probably vary between winter and summer. With all that said, I vote 3.

I set mine to the same. I tried for weeks to find the right temperature/humidity setting. I finally just set it to 'auto', and never had rainout or dry nasal passages since.

I run Climateline at 30 degrees year-round (the highest it will go), so I voted 5.

But Paul, it does not go as low as 30 degrees (F). Big Grin
