RE: Smelly cpap smell after months of use and other problems - Whitjr - 05-08-2015 What the others have coached you on is right on! Maintaince of your unit is really important, in order to insure the equipment is working right, as well as- and as importantly, so that you do not get sick from micro organisms that may be growing inside your system! I recommend washing and disinfecting your system every week. It may sound like a lot, however if this prevents even one bronchitis or pneumonia, it's worth it. Just IMHO.[/font] RE: Smelly cpap smell after months of use and other problems - truetopath - 05-08-2015 It's gotta be alien farts... what the others said about cleaning the machine will probably solve your problem. RE: Smelly cpap smell after months of use and other problems - zhentrixcalipso - 05-10-2015 You guys take this thread seriously RE: Smelly cpap smell after months of use and other problems - zhentrixcalipso - 05-10-2015 (05-08-2015, 12:58 AM)archangle Wrote: How did you end up with an M Series CPAP machine? Those haven't been made for years. LOL RE: Smelly cpap smell after months of use and other problems - player - 05-10-2015 If you check out the suppliers, you can buy a tube cleaning brush on a long wire so you can run the wire with the brush through the entire length of the hose to clean it. You should soak everything in vinegar for a few hours, then wash everything thoroughly with mild dish soap, rinse and let dry completely. Once a week. Masks every day, or every other day. RE: Smelly cpap smell after months of use and other problems - OpalRose - 05-10-2015 I also suspect this is a troll. This subject is very serious. I hope you never have need of this forum, as you will not get it! Now you need to GO GET A LIFE! RE: Smelly cpap smell after months of use and other problems - Sleepster - 05-11-2015 I'm closing this thread. If the OP is serious, he can start another thread about how to clean his machine. If he's joking around it's not appreciated. Let's leave it at that. For now. |
