The noise is coming from the exhaust slot on the nasal cushion. When I cover it up with my finger, it goes away. Im experimenting with enlarging it to see if I can make it go away. I too have the same problem. It seems to be loudest when there is moisture in it. I sleep with a noise machine on so it isn't an issue really.... but I would like to have it as quiet as the under the nose cushion version which has a similar vent. I think the vent might be crushing in on itself/the shape is reduced when the nose piece is pulled up on by the frame? Otherwise I really like the gel cushion and like being able to switch back and forth to the under the nose cushion using the same frame. |
