RE: Wireless connection issue in Canada on AirSense 10 Autoset? - donmeek - 12-01-2017 All Resmed xPAP S10 series units sold in Canada prior to 2015 and the United States (up to and including today) only communicate using CDMA technology (versus GSM 3G technology for those sold in the rest of the world - and in Canada after August 2015!). Most Canadian CDMA networks have already been shut down - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canadian_mobile_phone_companies - with apparently Bell Mobility the last to go in April 2018 (and Resmed was previously using Telus which shut down their CDMA network in January 2017). It's not that there is a 'disagreement' with Resmed and any Canadian telecom carrier - its that any Resmed unit sold in Canada and manufactured/marketed before August 2015 (or any purchased at any time from the United States) is physically incapable of communicating with any Canadian wireless carrier (other than Bell - and even that is shortly ending). There is no solution other than to purchase a Canadian market xPap manufactured/marketed after August 2015 (with GSM capabilities) if you're interested in using MyAir - any machine manufactured prior to that time or marketed for sale in the United States at any time - including today - will not be able to communicate with Canadian wireless carriers. The way to tel if you have an incompatible unit in Canada is to look at the device label - if it says CDMA on the IC code (such as IC: 9103A-AIR10CDMA) then it is incompatible in Canada.
