You have some chance of improving enough with mild cases. That has never been the case with severe sleep apnea. There is a huge difference between an initial moderate apnea up to 30 AHI, with weight loss to mild or near-treated, and the extremely severe OSA of 70 plus. Nevertheless, congrats, and hope you continue to enjoy the low event rate. Have you seen the recent INSPIRE threads? _____________________________________ Thanks Sleeprider. I have read a bit about Inspire, but it doesn't sound that pleasant to me. Whenever I mention weight loss and 2 different types of exercise, it gets truncated to weight loss. I think the 2 forms of exercise are just as important as weight loss. My recent experience with the exercises has shown be that they cannot be discounted. Weight loss and tongue/throat exercises. The exercises are the easy part. |
