Hope it works out... time will tell :-) sio2 monitor arrived .. no problem setting up the recording and understanding how it works.. recorded last night's data and anxious to see what it says... I can't seem to import the data to oscar or contec's software .. but I think the problem is with my computer, not oscar/contec ..I did download/install the drivers required for contec's software. I tried different usb ports, rebooted a few times in hopes that would solve the problem.. but so far, can't find/fix the problem. I realize that if I can't import to contec's own software, it isn't surprising that it also won't import to oscar. appreciate any suggestions you might have. RE: SPo2 - Crimson Nape - 10-30-2021 Did you use the USB cable that is supplied with the CMS-50F? It may not be a generic connection. RE: SPo2 - cberistain - 10-30-2021 (10-30-2021, 08:28 AM)yes i did. Crimson Nape Wrote: Did you use the USB cable that is supplied with the CMS-50F? It may not be a generic connection. yes i did. RE: SPo2 - Crimson Nape - 10-30-2021 Good! Did you have the CMS-50 on before plugging in to the PC? You should be presented with a screen in the SpO2 Assistant (or whatever the current is) for connecting or using files. Edit: I provided advice above that was lacking in content. When you start the CMS-50 software, you will be presented an icon of a DB-9 serial connector and a file folder. You will need to choose the DB-9. Your device should show up in the listings for selection. RE: SPo2 - cberistain - 10-30-2021 i’ll give that a try this evening. thanks!! I can''t find it in my device manager either... which says to me that the driver cannot find the cmd50f pulseoximeter. frustrating. both computers are windows 10. charlie RE: SPo2 - Jeff8356 - 10-30-2021 Are they still using the SI Labs CP210x drivers for the newer CMS50F? https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers RE: SPo2 - cberistain - 10-30-2021 (10-30-2021, 04:56 PM)Jeff8356 Wrote: Are they still using the SI Labs CP210x drivers for the newer CMS50F? yes. that exact one RE: SPo2 - Crimson Nape - 10-30-2021 Did you install the Silabs driver before or after the SpO2 Assistant software? My Windows SpO2 software CD was supplied with its own driver. You only needed to download the Silabs driver if you were using the old CMS-50 firmware version and performing a direct import into OSCAR/SleeyHead with a Mac. RE: SPo2 - Apnealicious - 10-30-2021 Oh my God... "are the drivers installed in the proper order".... I'm having flashbacks to the 1990s and Windows XT! How is it possible that this is an issue in 2021 and on Windows 10?? |
