RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - OpalRose - 07-20-2023 Snoring sometimes indicates that more pressure is needed, but let's see a night or two with no EPR and go from there. RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - DC2Shogun - 07-21-2023 Hi please see last nights OSCAR data attached with EPR off Sleephq link for those who prefer that: https://sleephq.com/public/d7edd3d9-711e-430c-be33-5dfc591f98e5 RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - OpalRose - 07-21-2023 Well, it doesn't seem that turning EPR off made much difference. A few posts back, Sleeprider suggested to titrate backwards, so continuing with that, if you're willing, try changing your pressure to 7.6. As far as EPR, I'd keep it off as long as it isn't uncomfortable. RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - DC2Shogun - 07-21-2023 I'll try that and see how it goes. If its getting worse after dropping the pressure does that mean I need to start increasing it instead? RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - DC2Shogun - 07-22-2023 Hi everyone, bit of a strange problem, the data from last night is not on the memory card for me to upload, sometimes this happens so I put it back in the machine and usually later on it appears, but its been ages and nothing is there, the data itself however has uploaded to the myAir resmed page, so not sure whats going on, I've attached a screenshot of it but obviously it's not particularly detailed. RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - OpalRose - 07-22-2023 Sometimes if you remove the card too soon (immediately after waking), the detailed information is lacking. You could try to purge that day, and reimport. I always love the detail that MyAir gives. Thanks, how do I purge and reimport RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - OpalRose - 07-22-2023 Data>Advanced>Purge current selected date If the SD card was in the Cpap while sleeping, then the detailed data should be on the card. Try to import again. RE: Please review my data and help me adjust my settings - DC2Shogun - 07-23-2023 Hi, please see the data from last night (note I couldn't actually sleep untill 5am (I have a 1 year old who decided to not sleep)) The data before 5am is me wearing the mask and trying to sleep, the fact that it's flagging CA's whilst I'm awake, does that hint at breathing pattern problems? Aside from that I definitely feel better than before on this lower pressure, I tried 6.6 last night, I'll try it again tonight and see how it goes. I used to think that I'd never get a good nights sleep again. I was right, even though they are now grown and married! I still struggle with sleep, but it's not apnea related, just other health issues that keep me awake. Ok, enough about me... Did you feel comfortable using 6.6? I'm thinking you may be going too low. Although trying different pressures and levels of EPR really have not made much of a difference in the CA's, but EPR has helped with the Flow Limitation. So you see that what might help decrease CA's, may cause FL to rise. There's only so much that be done with the machine you are using, but I would like to see some EPR used to keep FL lower. How do you feel about setting your pressure at 7cm. Set EPR to 1. Let's see how you feel with that, and hope that the little one sleeps too! |
