OSCAR v1.5.1 crashes on startup in macOS 14 - KC2684 - 10-22-2023
Oscar 1.5.1 hangs on open in macOS 14.0. It worked in previous versions. any advice?

Check your read-write access permissions for OSCAR and the OSCAR_Data folder.

I'm sorry but how would i find the appropriate files for OSCAR.
I see the main oscar that says I have read write access. are there other files and how do I find them.

Is this version is suitable for Linux Mint? A tried to install it. Virtually it was done, but if I clicked on OSCAR in the Menu it was never loaded.

I have OSCAR running on 4 computers using LM 21.2. What version of Linux Mint are you using?
If you are uncertain, type the following in a terminal window:

- Linux Mint is based with Ubuntu --> The deb for Ubuntu is supposed to suit to Mint
- LMDE is based with Debian --> The deb for Debian is supposed to suit to LMDE (*)
(*) LDME stand for Linux Mint Debian Edition
Can you give us the name of the distribution & the version (Crimson Nape gives you a command in the previous post. It is supposed to be ok on all the usual distributions).
