Well, the Medivance tape is failing. Give the F40 a try and see if it helps. It's not that much money to trial, and if you buy from Supplier #1 you can get a warranty for return. Let me know if you want a discount code. His leaks are not minor, and a FFM that has the characteristics of nasal therapy might be okay. Look into it and decide for yourselves. I don't see any advantage to raising EPAP when the problem is leaks.
