OK, I'll check back with an update in a couple days. Thanks again!

RE: Help reading OSCAR data - JenniferJuniper - 04-08-2024

I just realized I haven't shared recent data. After my last post in this thread, I got really sick. I was negative for covid, but this illness was worse than when I had covid. I was sick with this for a month, ended up on antibiotics for a secondary sinus infection. I wonder if the fact that I was having so much trouble breathing/sleeping was due to my coming down with that horrible virus. I had never (I don't think) ever taken my mask off in the night before, but I was doing it in the week or so before this virus really hit me.

Things have really improved in my sleep with the new settings as recommended here. I'm still using the pillows because the full-face, although it got me through several nights when I was so sick I couldn't breathe through my nose at all), is just too cumbersome, considering how much I move when I sleep.

Here is March 30, and then last night, April 7.

That recent chart looks very good to me. It seems you really only had events (few as they were) when around your minimum pressure. I think if it were me I would try bumping that up a touch, just to see if they all go away.

I was previously advised to try to make the minimum and max pressure closer, so I gave that a try. I meant to set it to 11 min and 15 max, but looks like I kind of messed that up. Let me know what you think about my last two nights and how you would adjust pressure from here. Thank you!!

RE: Help reading OSCAR data - JenniferJuniper - 04-18-2024

I happened to read a thread here on the forum about sinus issues/headaches with CPAP. The recommendation was to get rid of humidity, I believe. Since I've had morning headaches for that past several months (at least), I took a look at my settings yesterday. For some reason my tube temp was set to 80 Huh I started with a heated hose many years back because I was getting rainout, but I have no idea how long it's been set to 80. God knows I didn't set that (at least not on purpose), because I don't want to deal with 80 degrees ever, least of all when I'm trying to sleep. I turned it down to 70 last night, had a great sleep, and woke up with no headache and no congestion. Could some of my problems be caused by too much heat in that hose??
