this morning i tought about Vitera  Fisher & Paykel; could it be a solution?

There is no single solution, it will be a multitude of things that need to be done. Until the leaks are under control, then the best you can do is take steps to solve them. It is worth trying the mask, but see if you can get it from a vendor that has a 30-day return policy.

RE: cpap since 2 years .tired - jeje - 11-18-2024

hi, i ordered the vitera.
nb: Soft cervical collars seems to get good results: mouth is not dry in the morning.
always the leaks; so tonite, i am gonna try to use the old dreamwear with the Soft cervical collars to see if it's better; i stopped with the f30 ;waitind for new mask

hello, I received the vitera three days ago. the start was difficult (needs better settings). I took a capture of that night; This morning I'm trying different settings while lying down. I really feel that constant pressure with a minimum EPR would be the best solution, but the last time I tried it with another mask I was suffocating. I am going to try this evening with constant pressure at 12 and EPR 1. I have the impression that having a minimum pressure and a maximum pressure favors leaks, because with each breath of the machine, the mask moves and this tends to create leaks. I cross my fingers.

hi, this is the night with ppc12 epr1:
always leaks. i post a zoom on  the first big leak: i think the first curve before the leak equal to a movement?

i tought i understood how to fit the new mask but .... i am gonna try with ppc 8 last night.

As you can see, is not sealing well at all. Check to be certain the cushion is seated fully into the frame.

Also the top of the head straps help guide the overall up/down location of the mask. Do not tighten the top or bottom sets tightly. It will need to float. You must adjust this with CPAP running. Do not crush the nasal bridge mask area or it'll blow air. You may need to pull the mask off your face with straps attached to allow the cushion to reset.

RE: cpap since 2 years .tired - jeje - 11-24-2024

hello and thank you for your attention; I do this every day, I adjust with the machine running; I can't define exactly where the top of the cushion should be located: between the two eyes? just below?
I used f&p's help to choose size M, but I feel like I'm more of an L.
the mask is pleasant, a little noisy, I must at all costs resolve this leaking problem; and videos, I watch a lot of them, but without much result; except the use of the neck brace which is interesting. the mask flatulates on both sides of the nose, or leaks on the underside of the mouth if I don't tighten a little.

better results; fixed pressure increased to 10.6 return of the EPR to 2. skull strap tightened higher, forehead strap loosened, cheek strap tightened. = fewer leaks. a little lacking in sleep, but things are a little better since yesterday. neck brace a little tighter.

we'll see if the problems in pink graph are the result of little hypopnea or leaks;

next time: fixe pressure 12 epr 1
