Going through the thread and learning about "Ultrafine / Hypoalergenic" filters I went ahead and purchased a 40-pack of Resway (Resmed inspired?) Premium Resway Disposable Hypoallergenic CPAP Filters | Compatible with ResMed Airsense 11 from amazon. My original filter is... long due for a replacement Resmed says the filter needs replacing every 6 months - but in the amazon comments, people say they are replacing the filter every 2-4 weeks RE: Airsense 11 filters - turbo - 09-06-2023 No one knows how often you should replace your filters. It all depends on your environment. But 6 months in any environment is pushing it, IMO, and 2-4 weeks is too short of a time. Just inspect and replace as needed. Also keep in mind that hypos will need to be replaced more frequently as they catch more debris than the standard filters do. Not replacing your filters on time, will cause intake restriction, plus make the blower motor work harder. I get the original resmed 12 pack sealed hypos from valley cpap now (my local supplier) |
