"Shows movement at night with the accelerometer in the watch."

most movement in sleep is completely normal but involuntary movement like plm, which we've discussed a couple/few times in this thread iirc, cause arousals & could explain your feeling unrested despite decent charts.

however, while idk if plm presents the same for everyone, I haven't seen what I consider its telltale flow rate pattern in your screenshots.

DaveL, I think you mentioned you're using new tape and I don't remember in reading upthread if it's 3M, or something you bought a Shopper's Drug Mart, nevertheless, when I went on a tape trying/buying spree, the best tape to deal with my mouth leaks has been the BSN Cover Roll brand tapes.  I think they maybe called something else in Canada as in Europe it's Fleximull.  In any case here's the Amazon link.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015TG63U/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

This is the 4" wide roll which will extend down to my chin.  The thinking here is if my jaw "slides" when relaxing, the tape should hold my lips together.  Then again, they also have a 2" wide tape if you're using a Cervical collar.

I'm currently using the 2" tape with the Knightsbridge cap and getting really good results.  I was using the N20 mask, but switched to P30i, but really have found the best success with the F&P Brevida mask.

Anyway, hope this helps.

trying things is the only way to know, no harm other than the expense, but if your leaks are mouth leaks, I don't know why a pillow mask would make a difference.

I don't think what you're seeing is positional because afaik chin tucking produces obstruction and the charts you posted are showing centrals.

looks like your current priority should be getting your leaks under control.

again, other than the leaks, your charts look pretty good. consider looking beyond apnea and pap for reasons for your fatigue.

Thanks sheepless!

Last night I

* put on my Dakota wedge.
* put on my Knightsbridge Dual Band cap
* put on my LARGE N20i with LARGE insert (this causes leakage, but it's in good shape.
That's the first sleep interval

Then I woke up and hurried down the hall...I'd just undone the hose on all the gear.
* Took off all that stuff
* Put on a MEDIUM ResMED N20. (Not the new one I had on night-before last. It may be defective.
* Went back to sleep.  No tape. No pad or wedge. Just the N20 described.
That's the second sleep interval.

sheepless I appreciate all your help.  I'm relieved to see that the leak rate is good in the first sleep interval.  Now to find out what fixed it.  DAKOTA?  or KNIGHTSBRIDGE.  Hope Larry of Knightsbridge sees this and provides some help.

I'm trying stuff.  I have to figure out which FFM to try. And I will.

RE: Please help with treatment review - DaveL - 12-05-2021

nightgagger thanks.

I went to the Amazon site and left confused. The dot ca site lists a lot of tapes shipped from the US.

I went to two Shopper's Drug Marts. They were bought by Loblaws a big grocery store chain a while back. I haven't found a happy employee at Shoppers since then. First Shoppers had about 5 different kinds of tape, and no soft cervical collars.

Second Shoppers had more tape. No employees in sight until I checked out and the clerk was stressed beyond belief. I intended to buy 2 rolls of tape. The cost was 1-1/2 times the price on the display shelf. I left one at the cash and bought one roll of 3M tape for $13 Canadian. That's the tape I tried. described as gentle to take off but strong. It's not convenient. I worked at 3M for 15 years, long ago. Frankly 3M has so many products I find it hard to compare what I have to what someone else had.

Your tape sounds interesting.

I am thinking the leaking might start due to flex between inhale and exhale.

Also, can you make min and max on your flow line be -90 to 90?  That will make close up flow snapshots easier to read and understand.

Let's get a 5 minute close up of a time you think you are asleep but the Iwatch says you are awake.

QAL

p.s. you should change the machine setting for mask type to the type you use.  Some machines do different air delivery based on the mask type, and that may trigger mask leaks.

Thanks for your suggestions.  Changed the Y-axis settings. Hope that helps.

I've checked all my P(max) records.  I have 2 at 19. Here's a screenshot to show mask pressures.

I appreciate your suggestions.

Last night I fired a broadside at leakage.
* Dakota wedge
* Knightsbridge Dual Band Cap
* Different Mask (LARGE N20 with Large insert)  [My horrible night's leakage was with a brand new ResMed N20. either the mask is defective or I had it on much too tight and the seal was wrecked.]

I want to try and find out which measure fixed my leak problem.

Dave

ps My ResMed S10 *for her* is set up for nasal pillows mask. That's what the data sheet on the ResMed N20 mask says it should be.

I believe the tape in Canada goes under the Leukoplast name.

Here's the link from Amazon.ca  and it's the 2" width

If you're in Toronto, the Dundas square Shoppers mart has a great pharmacist/owner.  Very nice guy.  I was there about three weeks ago getting my Antigen tests to get back to the USA.  Andrew is his name.  Cheers!

Thanks nightgagger!

I ordered the tape.  Thank you.

I'm in Mississauga.  When I lived in London Ontario 2 hours away I visited Toronto a lot. Now?  Hardly ever!

Thanks so much for your help.  Much appreciated.

DaveL, I deleted two posts with failed links.

Thanks Sleeprider - DaveL - 12-05-2021

I apologize for the inconvenience.  I was trying to attach an image showing last night's sleep report from my iWatch. It shows excessive movement. It shows awake periods, and time asleep.
I try and look at this daily.  I find it helpful.

Thanks for your help.  I see a link in your signature line; I haven't been able to attach an image yet.
