RE: airsense 10 autoset malfunction? - mysleepapnea - 12-10-2016 I have the same problem with my Resmed S9. I used it for months no problems. Now all of a sudden its blowing full out. Shuts off sometimes indicating leaks in the mask and other times for no reason what so ever. Now it is recording less then 50% of the time I use it. So needlessly to say now, not only is my machine malfunctioning more often then not, but I can not get supplies any longer because my DME thinks I am out of compliance. And all of this started within weeks of my warranty expiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. RE: airsense 10 autoset malfunction? - sonicboom - 12-10-2016 What tube are you using - standard or climate line? What are your humidity settings? Are you using a sleeve or sock to cover your tube? At a minimum cover your tube with a sleeve and if you have the climate line set it to Auto. I think ResMed actually honors the standard "two year" warranty for 27 months from date of manufacture. If the machine was not sitting on a shelf for months before you bought it and if it is still within 27 months of manufacture then I think there's a good chance ResMed will still fix or exchange the machine for free. Only a DME can obtain an RMA (Return Material Authorization) to send a machine back to ResMed for warranty service, but it can be any helpful DME. Doesn't have to be the DME who originally bought it from ResMed. You can call ResMed customer support and tell them the REF# and serial number from the back of the blower unit, and they should be able to tell you whether it is still in its 27 month warranty period.
