Yes, I tried that using the latest version of the app, but as I said they have changed both the file naming convention and the file format.
So I am looking for an older version of the app which definitely works with OSCAR

Is there an example binary file somewhere that I can examine? Maybe in the OSCAR GitLab repo?

The viatom loader cpp file has the 40 byte header documented in its code. You can download the OSCAR source code here.
The file format hasn't changed, just the file naming conventions, and the storage directory on the mobile device.
File structure is a 40-byte header, followed by a 5-byte entry for each reading.

So I'm not seeing what you're seeing. The .dat file that I'm seeing has no header, and each entry is 6 bytes, not 5.
Is there an example file somewhere that I can examine?
