RE: Low AHI, tired foggy mind - Artanox - 05-02-2023

I tried some night with EPR off and i can try it again, i think my flow limit will increase a lot but i really dont know what should i do now that i resolved the leaks problem (learned to put the mask + cervical collar help to not make the mask leak)

It does not help that i dont understand what flow limit are

I wanna try APAP without EPR, based on the last 2 nights how much min pressure should i put? 12?

12-20 tonight and 14-20 tomorrow? No need to limit the machine and you may learn something.

Should be a good test.

The best I got was going from 8cm with EPR 3 (settings I had for over a year) to 9cm fixed with no EPR. But I had 0-1 AHI anyway.

I still need to finish testing a little more fixed pressure but I'm still experimenting with the ASV at the moment. Getting pretty frustrated with it all.

That's exactly what i wanted to do, i want to start monitoring the o2 saturation with an appropriate device like a ring, can someone suggest a compatible device with Oscar?

Look at the Wellue/Viatom line of oximeters. The brand name is dependent upon your location in the world.

What do you think of those last result with leaks resolved? with epr on and off?
I keep seeing CA with all the pressures, i dont know what to do

Ordered a Viatom O2Ring that arrive tomorrow and tomorrow i should get a nasal mask too.
I'm really curious about the o2 because in the sleep study my saturation dropped at 25% so i want to see if my cognition problems even with low AHI come from low saturation.
I really think there is something weird going on in my case because even if my AHI is low (sleep study was 25 and in average is always under 2) i always feel tired
Someone mind looking at those 2 past night i posted? something strange?

Hi,

I think you'll have to post some 3 minute close up shots of the problematic areas/events. Try to show the regular sleep, then when things start go haywire (REM?).

I think I'm making progress with the ASV but we'll see.

Have you considered switching to CPAP mode (constant pressure)?

I was getting pretty good results with APAP mode since my diagnosis many years ago but did some testing lately and decided to switch to constant pressure myself. It took some testing but I landed at 14cmH20 w/ EPR 1 and I've had 3 nights of great results AND better blood oxygen numbers as well.
