RE: Hard to breath with CPAP and RSD(CRPS) - Sleeprider - 07-12-2024 I remember you because Leadville might be the highest altitude municipality in the U.S. It's amazing to me more people there are not in need of some respiratory assistance. At an average elevation over 10,300 feet, I think your long-term solutions is lower altitude, but Looking forward to helping with the ASV. RE: Hard to breath with CPAP and RSD(CRPS) - Biggz - 07-13-2024 I do live at the highest city in the US at 10,152ft, but my oxygen rate is always around 94% Hopefully i will find out about the ASV this week. RE: Hard to breath with CPAP and RSD(CRPS) - Sleeprider - 07-13-2024 It's not so much about oxygen, but rather CO2. In order to keep oxygenated at high altitude, you have to have a high ventilation rate, and that often reduces CO2 which reduces respiratory drive. The ASV will maintain your normal respiratory volume and rate. RE: Hard to breath with CPAP and RSD(CRPS) - Biggz - 07-23-2024 Thank you Sleeprider, I am still waiting on the DME to call with information about the ASV unit. will keep posted, Thanks RE: Hard to breath with CPAP and RSD(CRPS) - Biggz - 08-12-2024 Guy from the medical supply called me Friday August 9th and said that the unit should be in this week sometime.
