RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - jcp519 - 03-29-2024 I had some trouble sleeping when I first started ASV. Popping a Benadryl or two was usually a good way to knock me out, but can make you feel a little groggy in the morning. It should get better with time as you find your routine. Sleeprider does have a habit of giving us better sleep with the side effect of lightening our wallets. RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Quitethe1 - 03-30-2024 Yeah, I’m going to try the Benadryl tonight. I start work at 6 during the week so I might try taking one earlier in the evening. Sleeprider would be happy if I got more hours of sleep. If Sleeprider told me to get 3 more machines for better sleep, I wouldn’t be here, I would be searching the internet for them! RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Sleeprider - 03-30-2024 I think you're all set for now. I don't get a commission from any of this, so you can just relax for now. I will be interested to hear an update when you share your success with your doctor. RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Quitethe1 - 03-30-2024 Commission! Hahaha. You should!! Thank You!! ? I will update when I have an update! RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Quitethe1 - 04-02-2024 [attachment=62175][attachment=62174][attachment=62173]I am having Sleeprider withdrawals!! I feel like I need my hand held at all times. Here are 3 days for your review. I think my biggest complaint right now, is when the machine ramps up to kill the CA and wakes me up. At least 4-5 times a night. I know what it is doing and I go right back to sleep. I'm curious to know if it can be seen on the OSCAR data. RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Quitethe1 - 04-02-2024 [attachment=62178][attachment=62177][attachment=62176] RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Sleeprider - 04-02-2024 You're at 3-15 pressure support range and that can be a lot when the machine ramps up. Care to dial that back to 3-12 and give me some feedback with that? RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Quitethe1 - 04-02-2024 Settings changed. RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - Quitethe1 - 04-04-2024 [attachment=62274][attachment=62273]Much better, not waking up at all now. I can't really feel any air pressure either. Not sure what the data shows, but seems to be better. I forgot to turn the ramp off, but I will tonight. Thanks for the help Sleeprider. RE: I need sleep badly! Any help with OSCAR is appreciated - jcp519 - 04-05-2024 Your numbers look much better. Sleeping a full night is the first big hurdle to get over with ASV. I hope that change is also reflecting in how you feel as well. |
