Sleepyhead cannot find my CMS50F Oximeter (on a Mac) - swanzon - 01-07-2016 I have a Mac running OS X El Capitan V 10.11.2, and a new CMS50F Oximeter (Ver 3.8). I have installed Sleepyhead for Mac, as well as the SiLabs USBDriver. When I try to import data from the oximeter, using the Import data directly from a device option, Sleepyhead cannot find the device. Note: when attached to my Mac via USB, the Oximeter does not display as a device in Finder. Does anyone have any ideas why the CMS50F is not being recognized by my Mac? RE: Sleepyhead cannot find my CMS50F Oximeter (on a Mac) - trish6hundred - 01-07-2016 Hi swanzon, WELCOME! to the forum.! I don’t know the answer to your question but hang in there. Much success to you with your CPAP therapy. RE: Sleepyhead cannot find my CMS50F Oximeter (on a Mac) - Huesito - 01-13-2016 Apparently, the SiLabs v4 driver has some problems with El Capitan. See: http://community.silabs.com/t5/Interface/CP210x-USB-to-UART-Bridge-VCP-Driver-Problem-with-OS-X-El/td-p/155165 Hopefully an updated driver will be available soon. RE: Sleepyhead cannot find my CMS50F Oximeter (on a Mac) - swanzon - 01-14-2016 Thanks much. I'll try a powered USB, as the thread notes it may solve the problem. Otherwise, I'll wait for an update. |
