Respironics 60 series ASV question - bons - 07-08-2016
Is there supposed to be a plastic cover over the air intake? There is nothing covering my spongy filter. I thought there was a cover when I purchased it last month but can't imagine how I'd lose it.

My respironics Apap does not have a cover over air intake. I don't believe any of the 60 series machine have a cover although I see they changed that feature on the DreamStation.
Having a cover doesn't affect how the machine runs. I've never had any problems.

Thanks! My bedroom needed a good cleaning anyway while I went nuts looking for it! My older ASV Advanced had one so I thought I'd somehow misplaced this one's.

Mine did not come with a cover over the filter. I asked about that when I picked it up. You didn't lose it.
