early morning leakage problems - jxyzobrien - 08-17-2016 Things are better so i am hopeful and optimistic changed diet on weight loss program (lost 26 lbs so far , 236 now) without exercising. I will be down to 230 by end of summer air pressure at 12 was weak so doctor said make it 14. rotech (worst customer service in the universe) made it 16. those clowns do whatever they feel like. resmed autoset h5i s9 series positive airway pressure device with humidifier, nasal mask sinus sometimes a tad runny so i am taking overcounter sinus med pressure changed 12 to 16 (doctor prescribed 14) fixed pillows so i would prevent leakage at bedtime it worked sometimes air pushes mouth open so chin strap tested at hospital with full mask, 40 apnea's an hour everything is fine till early morning then the air pressure forces the leakage I wake up after 4-5 hours of sleep when i put the mask on at night i check mask fit using mask fit check on machine and its green meaning fit. if i make it tighter it will give me a headache. I can not fall asleep unless i am really tired. I wake easily. I still have rings around eyes and feel a tad better. RE: early morning leakage problems - icyura10 - 08-17-2016 jxyzobrien, at the top of this page is a link "CPAP Setup Manuals" where you can request the appropriate manuals so you can turn the knobs and push the buttons on your CPAP in the "Clinical Technicians Guide." So if the machine's not the way you want it or the way the Dr. wants it and your supplier can't seem to effectively get it to those specifications, then you can do it yourself using the books. |
