[RESMED S9] Noisy? - stanzani - 12-02-2016

Hello I had this machine from a friend
I am new with the forum so forgive me if i posted in the wrong section.
It looks brand new (there is the plastic sleeve on the display!) but it present ab annoyng noise (blu blu blu when inspiring, it is the humidifier I think)) during operation. It could be I am mis-operating, still the oinstructions are very simple
please help

Welcome!

It should be nearly silent. You might have too much water in the humidifier. Try with less water. Or one of the silicone seals might not be in exactly the correct position. They are meant to be removed and re-attached, so check them.

Hi stanzani,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
It sounds like you might have filled your humidifier tank too full.
You will get a gurgling sound if you overfill it. I know there is a line, but I'm not sure where it is because it isn't embossed where I can actually feel it, I think it is a mark and you should be able to see it.

You might try operating the blower with the hose attached directly, without the humidifier. That will narrow down the source of the noise. Your description sounds like there may be water in the hose.
