Thanks for sharing Dugdale - it puts a human face on the experience.

One point about it bothered me - they kept referring to "holding your breath". As we all know, obstructive apnea isn't a matter of holding your breath - it's a matter of desperately trying to breathe but being unable to do so.

apart from central apneas events (usually associated with OSA, and detected by CPAP machines), which are "holding your breath".
