Acronyms not on the wiki - Aeolus - 05-02-2017 Two acronyms that I've come across that I couldn't find on the wiki or definitions page are PS and LL. PS is in the context of BiPAP, and LL maybe has something to do with leaks? Llamas? Lippy lions? I would post a link to the acronym page, but I can't because I'm new. Maybe a partial path will be accepted? http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Acronyms RE: Acronyms not on the wiki - Crimson Nape - 05-02-2017 PS = Pressure Support LL = Large Leak RE: Acronyms not on the wiki - chill - 05-02-2017 PS is Pressure Support, the difference in provided pressure between inspiration and expiration. LL is Large Leak, a leak beyond what the machine can compensate for. Over this, event detection and therapy is compromised. RE: Acronyms not on the wiki - trish6hundred - 05-02-2017 Hi Aeolus, WELCOME! to the forum.! Good luck to you with CPAP therapy. RE: Acronyms not on the wiki - PaulaO2 - 05-04-2017 I added both to the wikipage. http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Acronyms RE: Acronyms not on the wiki - xxyzx - 05-04-2017 (05-04-2017, 04:39 PM)PaulaO2 Wrote: I added both to the wikipage. depending on context ps could be power supply for the unit RE: Acronyms not on the wiki - PaulaO2 - 05-04-2017 Since PS for Power Supply is rarely used, it isn't something we are worried about. |
