SD card - Cpete - 06-09-2017

I have resmed s9 elite. I would like to know if it will work satisfactorily without an SD card.

Yes, the ResMed S9 Elite is a data capable fixed pressure machine and can be used with #SleepyHead software. You do need an SD card to use the software, but the machine will run without.

It will work, but without an SD card you cannot monitor your therapy. You will have no idea about well the machine is working for you.
Using an SD card and reading and displaying the data with SleepyHead is highly recommended for obtaining the best possible therapy.

Well, you will still get some data reported on the machine itself, like the AHI, leaks etc. Detailed data is written on the SD card (for analysis with SleepyHead), but summary data is available on the machine.

Yes, The S9's operation is not predicated on having a SD card installed. The SD card's purpose is to store a backup of the S9's settings and to record, both summary and detailed, data on your Elite.

The question is already answered, is there a problem with the card
on occasions, the machine display a message on the screen regarding the SD card, remove it, erase data, etc ...

Sleepyhead has a warning that some computer systems will write files to your sd card when inserted. Some cpap machines do not like this. The advice is to lock the card before putting it in the computer and unlocking it when putting it back into the cpap.
