change from nasal to full face mask - stevenW705 - 07-22-2017

My machine is Res Med S7 with humidifier. I have been using a nasal mask for over 10 years and I would like to switch to a full-face mask. Are there different settings I must make to my CPAP machine? I tried using the full-face mask but after using it for less than 5 minutes it stops and I have to begin again.

I'm not sure if your machine has a mask type setting, you can find the instructions for entering the setup menu here. http://www.apneaboard.com/resmed-s7-cpap-setup-instructions-for-sleep-apnea-patients Have a look and change the the mask type setting if you need to.

Hi stevenW705,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
How long have you had your S7? If you have had it over 5 years, you might consider a mewer machine as the technology has benb much improved.
Hang in there for more answers to your questions and good luck to you as you continue CPAP therapy.

Thank you.
That's probably the best solution.
