    I tested both pillows on a Dreamstation AutoBipap with a Airfit P10 Mask. Pressures were set to EPAP 19 IPAP 25 PS 2-6. Auto. 
 
   Up first: Buckwheat pillow ordered online. Size 20" x 15" x 2".  WT 4.8 lbs. Price $34.00.   Selling points in Advertisements: Organic and Heirloom quality. Made in India.
   
   This pillow gives a whole new meaning to the word firm. First night I felt like I was resting my head on a sack of rocks. After a few nights I started to adjust to it. I won't say I was ever comfortable though.  But and this is a big But! My numbers were good using this pillow. It does hold your head steady.  If I had to guess I'd say it shaved about .5 to 1 API off my numbers. There's a plus for me with this pillow. Being in Eastern Washington surrounded by wheat fields I'd never be short of wheat hulls for replacement.

  First thing I thought when Fedex dropped it off is it's smaller than the Buckwheat pillow!!  Turns out it was folded and rolled than sealed. After opening the package and throwing in the dryer for 15 minutes it grew into a large queen size pillow. Nice and soft.    
I read that it takes more time to adjust to a firmer pillow than a softer pillow. I would say this is true. It only took one night for me to adjust to the My Pillow. API numbers were the same and it held the head steady throughout the night.
 
   Conclusion: Both pillows keep your head level and steady which helps prevent chin tucking and leaks. As a tool in correcting Sleep Apnea both get the job done. As far as comfort I liked the My Pillow a ton better and give it 5 stars based on that. The Buckwheat pillow I give 4 stars.

Thanks for the info. I'll be interested to see what others say as part of my xPap list of adjustments includes a better pillow. I can't do so now as I'm waiting for disability payment approval, so I'm using this time to get used to the new ASV blower. Go figure, take a guy off therapy for 3 months and he has to start over with getting used to machine...

Spoke to MyPillow customer service: it is made from polyurethane, is latex free & hypoallergenic. If you have a sensitivity to memory foam (also made from polyurethane), then check it out in person first.

Hello Walla, I see your post is some 8 months old so you may already be aware. My Pillow was the subject of a class action lawsuit for having made false claims. We bought, and returned, two of their pillows early on. By default we were then made a part of the lawsuit. We are awaiting our settlement money as I write this - a hearty $20 if I recall correctly. You're dead right as well - pillow comfort is very subjective. Regards.
