Philips-Respironics Series 60 REMstar SE REF 220P - Is this a cpap with auto - mybookroom - 08-21-2017 Hi, my dreamstation is not working right and I have dragged out my old old old machine. I forget how to use it. It's a Philips-Respironics Series 60 REMstar SE with a reference number on the bottom of 220P. Is this a straight CPAP or does it have a range like my dreamstation. (I'm afriad I know the answer - this is a dumb cpap with no ability to really adjust right? sigh - I need to figure out how to buy a new machine quick then). Anyway if you can help me figure out what machine I have and what it does I would really appreciate it. And if anyone knows who fixes dreamstations I need mine fixed. I do not have insurance coverage anymore. RE: Philips-Respironics Series 60 REMstar SE REF 220P - Is this a cpap with auto - PaulaO2 - 08-21-2017 My guess is it is a "brick" CPAP, meaning just one single pressure. Yep. Just Googled it. The "SE" is considered an entry model. It would probably cost more to have it fixed than to just get another. There are a few repair places in the Supplier's List. Supplier #27 and 28. RE: Philips-Respironics Series 60 REMstar SE REF 220P - Is this a cpap with auto - DeepBreathing - 08-21-2017 How old is your Dreamstation? They are relatively new on the market and it may still be under warranty. If so, your DME may be able to arrange a loan machine while yours gets fixed. RE: Philips-Respironics Series 60 REMstar SE REF 220P - Is this a cpap with auto - Sleeprider - 08-21-2017 The Philips Respironics System One 60 Series SE CPAP (260P) is a fixed CPAP with no efficacy data. If you know what pressure you need it is easy to set by turning the knob to Settings, pressing the ramp button and control knob at the same time, then entering settings. A manual is available through the forum. Your Dreamstation should be under warranty, so hopefully this is a short term inconvenience. At the moment these are not on Amazon...must be a crackdown. I am seeing a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset at $444. RE: Philips-Respironics Series 60 REMstar SE REF 220P - Is this a cpap with auto - trish6hundred - 08-21-2017 Hi mybookroom, WELCOME! to the forum.! Hopefully, you can get your DreamStation fixed, it should be under warranty. Good luck with CPAP therapy and getting your machine problem resolved. |
