AHI vs RDI as measured by Sleepyhead. - nathanoj - 10-20-2017 Because the AHI measured by Sleepyhead software includes RERA events, is it equivalent to RDI? RE: AHI vs RDI as measured by Sleepyhead. - Walla Walla - 10-20-2017 If you add the RERA to the AHI that'll give you the RDI. RE: AHI vs RDI as measured by Sleepyhead. - SnoringInOregon - 10-21-2017 A PAP machine reports "RERA" events. That is in quotes because the machine doesn't have connections to your brain so it can make a 100% accurate determination that what it thinks is an RERA is truly an RERA. It's an interesting issue for me since my AHI is usually under 1.0, but my RHI will sometimes be over 6.0. Still, my guess is that the reported RERAs are fairly accurate. RE: AHI vs RDI as measured by Sleepyhead. - TASmart - 10-21-2017 At least for Resmed, Sleepyhead reports the AHI and the RDI. You can pick which you want to see in the options/preferences menu. If you want AHI it reports apneas plus hypopneas. If you choose RDI it adds RERA estimates into the sum. RE: AHI vs RDI as measured by Sleepyhead. - nathanoj - 10-25-2017 Ah - I see now. Although RERA are LISTED (on my screen, just above the pie-chart), they are not actually included in the AHI sum of events. |
