Last night I did my first over night pulse oximeter test. I don't really understand the charts. Can someone explain to me please?

You had two dips below 90% on the O2 which didn't last long and may have been just the connection getting knocked around. Overall your O2 is fine.

Scary-looking, but the critical blelow-90 is not troublesome. I've been using oximeters for a few weeks and my charts have numerous anomalies -- all of which seem to be caused by my flopping my arms around when I turn over or shift positions. If I get worried I may "film" myself overnight to see what's going on -- I've done so in the past and discovered that I barely moved all night long.

My suggestion: don't fret about the graph if it doesn't go below 90 for longer than a few seconds, or does so a number of times within a short period of time. It's important to accumulate some history so you can spot a trend, which only one or two days can't show.
