spo2 profile: transition to apnea phase? - noviceAB - 07-23-2018 I recently bought a pulse oximeter As shown, after ~3 hours of relatively stable reading (AHI=4.6), it entered into an erratic apnea phase (next 2 hours before awakening) with AHI=24; average for the night ~12 This pattern is fairly consistent regardless of how I sleep Had I slept another hour, it would be erratic any thoughts/comments? I have both AFIB & OSA thanks RE: spo2 profile: transition to apnea phase? - Walla Walla - 07-23-2018 You could update your profile with the machine type pressures etc. Also assuming you have a machine that can use sleepyhead you might want to download it and post a chart. The links are below. RE: spo2 profile: transition to apnea phase? - Sleeprider - 07-23-2018 It sure would help to know the type of events that you are seeing with an AHI of 24. That needs some attention to find a more effective therapy that might actually help your Afib and poor SpO2. If the events are obstructive, then the solution is different from if the events are central. |
