L-Theanine and SPO2 - noviceAB - 08-21-2018 As an experiment, I found 400mg of L-Theanine gives me ~3 hours of very stable flat SPO2 readings above 96. However, after 3 hours, it starts to go up/down (normal apnea). Anyone with similar experience? Any thoughts? thanks RE: L-Theanine and SPO2 - Beej - 08-26-2018 To do a proper analysis, you need to do an ABBA single subject design. That means to collect data in an untreated state, collect it in a treated state, then resume the untreated state. If the intervention is actually causing the change, you should be able to plot when you are and are not using the intervention. Basically, repeat-ability of results supports the hypothesis that the intervention works for you. RE: L-Theanine and SPO2 - noviceAB - 08-27-2018 In theory, you are correct It is difficult to control factors like salt content when eating out & individual's responses to specific interventions. Based on your practice of what you recommended, what have you found for yourself that "works" that may include reduced AHI,l increase in average SPO2 level, and/or decrease in average heart rate etc.? "What works" may include vitamins, exercise, active use of devices like ULTRABREATHE etc.? thanks |
