Pressure Difference Effects Hearing? - rdv3773 - 09-17-2018

The eustachian tube equalizes the pressure on both sides of the eardrum.  Could the use of a CPAP effect hearing by forcing an unequal pressure inside the ear?  My ears are constantly ringing in the morning after using my CPAP.

It can, yes. If you've just started using a CPAP, it should clear up soon. If not, talk to your GP about sending you to an ENT for a checkup.

Could also not be related to CPAP, just that you are noticing it now. Another reason to see your GP and/or ENT.
