Question about prescription - bigpapa7272 - 11-23-2018

Hi all 
Back when I bought my dreamstation auto  in 2017. I got prescription with the CPAP prescription package from supplier 30. I sleep well with my machine  but I travel about 5 to 6 weeks a year and lugging my regular dreamstation can be a pain . So  I'm in the market for a travel machine and looking at the Dreamstation go auto as it will sync up with existing app and use any mask. I've been checking around and supplier 30 is $200 more than supplier 29 for same model.

This will not be going through insurance and I will be paying for it on my own.

My question is will supplier 29 take my prescription from supplier 30 or will I be forced to buy from supplier 30?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Do you still have a copy of the prescription? If not, ask your doc for a copy or a fresh scrip.

Sometimes they'll send the CPAP if you say you'll send in the prescription. In that case, you'll get the factory settings and have to configure it yourself.

Yes I have PDF of the electronically signed prescription that their doctor signed

That should be all you need.  Yoi can call your preferred supplier and verify, but they will probably be pretty lenient and emailing that PDF should be fine.

Also check prices with Supplier #2.

Your doc prescription is all you need.

Well ordered my dreamstation go auto from supplier 29. So far has been great. Pricing was great Ordered today on the site with the affirm payment and 20 minutes later they sent email to follow up on script. Sent what they needed and they said have everything and will send me tracking number when shipped... Will keep you updated but so far a positive experience...
