Dreamstation heated hose - yatluk - 01-03-2019

hi I have been using my dreamstation machine for nearly a year.
Recently I found that when using fixed humidifier mode, there will be rain out inside the normal hose.

But when I connect the heated hose, the heat plate of the humidifier stopped heating.
Similar problem occurs when I use adaptive humidifier setting.
So I just wonder if there is any thermometer attached in heated hose so the heat plate will tune its output power according to room temperature.

Any way I can control the heat plate power just as how it would when in fixed humidifier mode, and use the heated hose function at the same time?

Thanks

When the heated hose is attached the machine is automatically switched to Adaptive mode. Adaptive mode adjusts to the humidity of the room which is why the heating plate will turn off. You can change this by going into the clinic manual and changing to setting to fixed mode after attaching the heated hose. To control rain out you either have to increase the hose temperature or reduce the humidifier heat.
