ResMed data retention on SD card - SteadyAir - 04-07-2019 Hello all, I have a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet that I have been using for a little over a month. I have noticed that in ResScan I have 3 options for downloading data from my SD card, Summary only, Summary and Detail, and finally Summary, Detail, and High Rate Data Sessions. I have been downloading the data off the SD card into both Sleepyhead and ResScan (until I figure out which I prefer) every week, but I am wondering if that frequency is completely necessary. I have seen on some sites that state with an SD card it will store 365 days of Summary data, 30 sessions of Detailed data, and 7 sessions of High resolution flow data. But that appears contradictory to what is still on my card after over a month's worth of data logging. Below are my oldest and newest directory listings from my SD card, and as you can see, they are virtually identical in regards to what files are there and their sizes. Of course, the file names are different as they reflect the dates of the sessions. I have a total of 41 sessions stored so far. So, what I am asking is, am I at risk of losing any data if I don't do a transfer weekly and do it say every other week (or more). Thanks, Jim Code: Directory of D:\DATALOG\20190227 RE: ResMed data retention on SD card - jaswilliams - 04-07-2019 The retention settings you mention are for the S9 the older generation of the machine, the Autoset will hold a years data and more. I suggest though that you look at Sleepyhead the data produced by that is superior in many ways than Resscan The only reason for using Resscan would be for compliancy reporting RE: ResMed data retention on SD card - SteadyAir - 04-07-2019 (04-07-2019, 02:11 PM)jaswilliams Wrote: The retention settings you mention are for the S9 the older generation of the machine, the Autoset will hold a years data and more. Thanks jaswilliams. So, what happens after a year (or more). Does the card fill up and have to be erased, or does the S10A start to remove old data on it's own and keep going? RE: ResMed data retention on SD card - pholynyk - 04-08-2019 My ResMed supplied 2GB card nearly filled up after a year and a half, so I retired it and bought an 8GB card. My initial import to OSCAR took rather a while... about three years worth of data all at once. I have seen a couple of places where OSCAR is going to be the replacement for Sleepyhead, but I can't seem to find OSCAR anywhere. Where does one find OSCAR at? RE: ResMed data retention on SD card - Crimson Nape - 04-08-2019 It's currently in prerelease testing and only available to the development team. |
