OSCAR "NOTES" & SD CARD - robertpsimpson - 11-30-2019 1st post: OSCAR "NOTES" & SD Card I take the unlocked SD card out of my unplugged machine. I bring up the Oscar program on my Mac Book. I insert the "LOCKED" SD card into the reader and plug it into my Mac. I then tell the system to read the SD card. Then I click on screen to make all my grafts to come up and my details AHI score. Now I click on NOTES and start typing my daily opinions of what happen that day. Now here is where I have an issue.... my card is LOCKed. How does the information I typed into NOTES get onto the SD Card so when I take the SD Card into the office for review my NOTEs are on the SD Card? Should I unlock the SD Card at some point? Robert RE: OSCAR "NOTES" & SD CARD - Gideon - 11-30-2019 OSCAR does not write to the SD card ever. Notes are stored on your hard drive. RE: OSCAR "NOTES" & SD CARD - DeepBreathing - 11-30-2019 G'day Robert. Welcome to Apnea Board. Oscar does not write the notes to the SD card - it actually writes nothing to the card. The notes are stored in Oscar's database on your hard drive. The only way to access the notes externally is to export them using File | Backup Journal which will generate an xml file. This behaviour is something that Oscar inherited from SleepyHead, and the Oscar team are now working through ways to make the notes more useful and usable.
