Dental Sleep Appliance and a Medicare Approved DME - SorryIamNormal - 12-18-2019

Is there anyway to verify in advance if a dentist is also a Medicare Approved DME?  When I got my dental sleep appliance years ago the dentist was one and I got 800 back on the 2000 I paid for the appliance.  I'm having an issue with the dentist I'm seeing now and was thinking of switching.

You could always ask them.

The terminology is "Participating Provider". DME providers that are participating providers, agree to accept Medicare payments as full reimbursement of all claims. Many providers can provide Medicare coverage, but they may legally charge beyond the Medicare reimbursement rate. You can look them up by Zip Code here: https://www.medicare.gov/supplierdirectory/search.html
