Welcome to Apnea Board!
Who you use is largely dependent on who your insurance contracts with.  If you are using a Medicare Advantage program, then the best thing to do is call them and ask for a list of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers in your area.

The only trouble with local is the co-pay is an arm and a leg. With the company I was using there were no co-pays

Medicare coverage is not the same for everyone. If you plan on having Medicare pay for your supplies, then you need to use one if their approved suppliers.

You may very well not have any copays. That is determined by your coverage, not by a supplier.

Again, call your insurance to get specific information on your coverage, copays and deductibles should that apply.

A key term to look for is a "participating provider". Medicare lists them and you can choose from the list. Many DMEs will allow Medicate, but can charge for the part Medicare does not cover. A participating provider cannot balance bill. Start here https://www.medicare.gov/supplierdirectory/search.html

All my local suppliers that will do it charge too much. Just a mask is around $30 copay where online was free. So 6 months of supplies that were free would be around $100-120 locally. Guess I will keep looking

So do you pay them up front and then you have to bill your insurance?

I never had any luck with insurance, just paid out of pocket...Guess you could try and submit to insurance...would check with them first though...

Never paid out of pocket unless I used the local suppler. Local suppliers will go thru medicare but sadly they can charge what they want over what medicare pays. Since they stopped selling replacement stuff I've been sick for the first time in 20 years. Guess I will just keep doing my best to keep it clean and replace stuff once it just can't be used anymore and pay what I have to then. Just hate the local companies get paid for the items and then I have to pay even more, Kind of like they are getting double for some items
