Try going to your Flow Limit graph and turn off all your Overlays. See if that clears it up.

They indicate when your ASV algorithim is working to eliminate events, and yes that includes 'backup breathing'

My Dream station ASV has over 500 timed events per night. Is that number concerning or normal? Seems high to me. Pls advise.

Over what period? It is the number per hour that matters and what type of events and are they grouped together and why they occured. These questions can be best answered by posting your daily charts. They are most likely that something should be done about them, beyond that I'd be guessing without more data.
