Importing data from Wellue O2 Ring SPO2 - ar3thur - 08-06-2020

I have just purchased the O2 Ring from Wellue online and it's doing a great job for me.  It came with its own software and that works fine too.  Now I'm looking for a way to import the data from that into OSCAR and integrate with the data from my ResMed S10.  The data is time synched but I don't know the file format.  I've reached out to Wellue also for information.  Any ideas?  Any others using this device?  Thanks for anything you can offer!

Hi ar3thur!  Welcome
OSCAR already allows for the import of your O2 Ring data.
  1. Download your O2 Ring's data to your PC.

  2. Start OSCAR and import your A10 data.

  3. Go to Data ⇾ Import Viatom Data and select it.
(Note: Viatom and Wellue are the same, evidently different names in different countries.)

  4. Navigate to the PC's data folder containing the Wellue/Viatom data and select it.
(Note: You only need to preform this step the first time you import data.  OSCAR remembers the last file location.)
    • Windows - You can select single or multiple files to import.
    • Mac - Select either the complete folder name for multiple files***, or select an individual file within the folder.
***  -  This procedural step may or may not work. The jury is currently out on this one.
    • Linux - Only allows selection of individual files.  For multiple files, you must repeat step #3.
If you are importing new data, OSCAR will display, "Import Successful".  If you import data already in OSCAR, the message, "Up To Date" will appear.

Good luck!

ar3thur,
It is as easy as Crimson Nape says.  I also use the O2 Ring.  I especially like the way OSCAR remembers the last file location.

I wanted something simple to use and as I only use the Ring a couple days out of the week, the interaction between OSCAR and my Ring data is flawless.

Good job OSCAR team!

Thanks very much for pointing out how to easily import O2 data into OSCAR
Worked flawlessly for me too

My O2Ring has been super helpful to me, even before I got my OSA diagnosis.

One thing to watch out for with OSCAR; the clock on your O2Ring is not synchronized with the clock on your CPAP machine. After you import the data you'll see the graphs adjacent in OSCAR but you have to remember they may be out of sync. You can try to set both device clocks to the same time but the closest I've ever gotten is about a minute.

To set the O2Ring clock you use the Wellue graphing software, either on your PC or your phone. Somewhere in the settings menu it has an option to set the clock from the device that's connected to the O2Ring.
