data import issues with Philips Respironics REMstar Plus (System One) c-flex+ - sark666 - 10-30-2020

Hello, I borrowed a Philips Respironics REMstar Plus (System One) c-flex+ from a friend and used it for the first time last night and wanted to see the results in OSCAR.

Initially Oscar gave me this message:

your philips respironics cpap machine (model 251p) is unfortunately not a data capable model.

i'm sorry to report that ocscar can only track hours of use and very basic settings for this machine.

I then created a profile in Oscar and imported the data and this time it said something to the effect of it not being familiar with the data and I would need to send it into Oscar devs for examination.

I see last night in the folders it did seem to record data.  There's a file with last night's date with a size of 28k.

I don't see where I am supposed to send this file.  If someone can give me directions on where to send this file I would appreciate it.

I have already created Oscar_data.zip file.

Also, according to the wiki, this machine does have full support.

Or if there's anything else I can do on my end (format the sdcard?) I would try whatever I can on my end.

also, I tried to attach the Oscar zip file to this message but it said the file type is not allowed.

I'm not sure to what extent OSCAR supports the 251P, because it's not a data capable machine.
You may be able to see compliance data, such as AHI and usage, but there would be no detailed report.

Hopefully, someone from the OSCAR team will clarify this.

Ah, well if it's not a data capable machine there's no point.  I wanted to see leaks ahi's etc.

I thought when the wiki said it had full support it was a fully data capable machine.

Full support can mean that it will report all the data that the particular CPAP model collects.

If you're getting an alert about unexpected data in OSCAR 1.2.0, then please do send that zip file to:

Sorry about the ambiguity in the wiki. I'll make the limitations of that machine a little clearer.
