OSCAR clock drift bug - orand - 11-11-2020 It looks like this bug from the SleepyHead days is still happening in OSCAR. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-Clock-Drift-Offset Basically, if you use the CPAP Clock Drift setting to shift the timeline around, then when you hover your mouse over the graph to see the values under the cursor, the reported values are from the un-shifted location, not the shifted location. Is this the right place to report bugs like this, or should I post a GitLab issue? RE: OSCAR clock drift bug - Crimson Nape - 11-11-2020 That's a good catch. The Drift feature was placed in the code to make up for the older Philips-Respironics machines that didn't provide any option in adjusting its clock, which was set to GMT at the factory. I don't know about the current models they make. Your Resmed has a Date/Time setting feature. Why are you using the OSCAR option? This is definitely the right place to report bugs. We very much prefer it to GitLab issues as more people see the report here. I'll log this in our issue tracking system. [Logged as #303] RE: OSCAR clock drift bug - orand - 11-11-2020 Thanks! I agree, setting the clock right on your machines is the better option, and I do that. However, I ran into this when troubleshooting some data for my mom, trying to line up her pulse oximeter data with her CPAP events. Her machine hadn’t been adjusted for Daylight Saving Time yet. This feature is also useful when you’re trying to adjust the time by just a few seconds. I’ve done this when trying to synchronize with an infrared webcam recording with timestamps. |
