Stuffy nose.... - Glen e - 11-13-2020 Sometimes through the middle of the night, and when I wake up one of my sinuses is completely blocked, once I get up , it clears up pretty quickly. And it never gets stuffy again as I go through the day, or when I go to sleep. My question is , what is the relationship between sinuses and humidity? I have my humidity set slightly higher at 6 on the airsense, and have no runny nose or any other effects that I can tell, but would it help to increase or decrease it? Before I go experimenting, I thought I would ask here… Thank you. RE: Stuffy nose.... - OpalRose - 11-13-2020 Of course, much depends on the humidity level in your room. I've tried a few different humidity settings, and found that higher humidity will give me the same congested feeling you describe. So I keep it lower, between 2 and 4, again depending on the humidity level in my room. I use a hygrometer to determine that. About 10 bucks on Amazon. Everyone responds differently to humidity, some don't use it at all. RE: Stuffy nose.... - Glen e - 11-13-2020 That makes great sense, I’ll drop it tonight see what happens… My room humidity is 45% at all times, I have a meter for it on my clock....Thank you… |
