Oscar Terms - Avery - 12-11-2020 Please tell me what the category on "Oscar" titled "Breathing not detected' actually means. Is it really indicating that I went minutes without breathing at all? RE: Oscar Terms - Crimson Nape - 12-11-2020 Hi Avery! - NO, it means that your CPAP could not detect breathing. Seeing that you are using an FFM, I'm wondering if you had a major leak. If the leak is large enough, then the CPAP is at "full throttle" and can not distinguish any flow changes. A lot of times if someone is using a nasal or pillow type of mask and breathes through their mouth, the BND will be flagged. RE: Oscar Terms - Sleeprider - 12-11-2020 This flag is only seen on Philips Respironics machines. It is not OSCAR, but an event used by Philips machines to alert that a clear breathing signal is not detected. RE: Oscar Terms - Avery - 12-11-2020 Thanks...that is a MAJOR relief to know! |
