Dreamstation Servicing? - Dandydog - 04-23-2021 Hi! I’ve got a problem with my wife’s Philips Respironics Dreamstation. Does anyone have any experience with having one of these machines serviced? I’d appreciate any information anyone can provide, including referrals to agencies in any part of the country. Thanks for your help - Neil RE: Dreamstation Servicing? - SarcasticDave94 - 04-23-2021 Action 1, contact your DME and request the PAP be checked and if necessary replaced. This is the better path if your insurance is paying monthly rental payments. Warranty is extended under the supplier to insurance contract. Action 2 if no insurance is currently involved, I'm thinking there's a supplier in our list that does repairs well and at reasonable prices. RE: Dreamstation Servicing? - Dandydog - 04-23-2021 Thanks for the quick response, Dave. I’ll see if I can find out who Sandy’s DME is. In the meantime: Has anyone had experience with any of the 37 suppliers on that list, specifically with regard to the Dreamstation? RE: Dreamstation Servicing? - SarcasticDave94 - 04-23-2021 I myself have not with any of them. I'm Social Security Disabled AKA poor. So I need to put doctors in chicken wing holds to get my machine via insurance. I know you didn't ask, but I had DreamStation and ResMed. ResMed is far better for me. Of course YMMV. RE: Dreamstation Servicing? - SarcasticDave94 - 04-23-2021 PS shop Supplier #2. They've got new or used PAPs if needed. Do call them though. They give accurate hour readings and pricing might be sweeter on the call. |
